Overview

 

The 2430P is a rack-mountable, single or dual stream PCM bit synchronization system that provides maximum performance in minimum space. Built in a compact 3.5 inch chassis, the Model 2430P comes in configurations containing one or two Acroamatics 1601P Bit Synchronizer cards that operate at up to 32Mbps. Available options include: Viterbi decoding and Bit Error Rate Tester (BERT) and Frame synchronizer.

In addition to standard codes, the uniquely flexible architecture of the Model 2430P allows Acroamatics to provide additional code processing on special order. Equipped with a built-in 6.2" TFT LCD display, the Model 2430P provides convenient front panel setup, and display of both parameters and status. Remote monitoring and programming capability is available via serial and Ethernet interfaces. An embedded processor provides nonvolatile memory storage for setup programs. Acroamatics supplies a Windows compatible graphical user interface for use with the serial and Ethernet remote control interfaces.

Single stream bit synchronizer complete with all standard codes and the ability to provide additional code processing on special order. Options include additional bit synchronizer card and upgrades for Viterbi, FSYNC/BERT, HDB3.

Model 2430P-PP Standalone Dual Stream Bit Synchronizer
Dual stream bit synchronizer complete with all standard codes and the ability to provide additional code processing on special order. Options include upgrades for Viterbi, FSYNC/BERT, and QPSK ambiguity resolution.

 

System Software

 

The standard Bit Synchronizer GUI can program and monitor the 2430P over a network. The same GUI can also program and monitor 1601P and 501V cards, a Telemetry Data Processor, a Acroamatics 2440V VME Multi Bit Sync Chassis, a Model 2430V or 2650P PCI Multi Bit Sync Chassis.
