Overview

The 517V is the CPU in the Acroamatics Model 2430V VMEbus Bit Synchronizer. The card automatically initializes all BSYN (501V single-card bit synchronizer) cards in a 2430V VBS chassis. The 517V processes entries from the front panel keypad or the remote interfaces (RS-232, Parallel Bus) to set up the bit synchronizer card(s). The 517VA contains 2MB of DRAM. The card also provides flash memory to store up to twenty setup programs for repeated use.
